About Us

O'Brien Practical Solutions Training LLC or OPS Training is a personalized training company. The owner, Eric O'Brien, is a retired NYPD firearms instructor with over 13 years of experience. From helping students of all skill levels from first time shooters to specialized units master the fundamentals of multiple shooting platforms, developing and implementing curriculum and reviewing tactics and identifying best practices in use of force incidents.

Ops Training aims to provide comprehensive firearms training using simulated firearms (UTM NLTA firearms and ammunition) and techniques that provide the user with measurable feedback. The ideal student for O'Brien Practical Solutions Training is someone who is eager to learn, improve their skills and enhance their understanding of the safe use of firearms.

Our goal is to help the student become self sufficient, competent and confident so they can get the most out of their investment. Classes will be held at student's location for convenience and privacy.
